Jeanette Dorner, Executive Director

Jeanette has a long history working to recover salmon in Puget Sound. She worked for 11 years as the Salmon Recovery Program Manager with the Nisqually Tribe, coordinating the protection and restoration of salmon habitat in the Nisqually watershed. She then worked as the Director of Ecosystem and Salmon Recovery at the Puget Sound Partnership, supporting the work of hundreds of partners around Puget Sound to protect, restore and clean up their rivers, streams and Puget Sound shorelines. She also serves as chair of the Board of the Pierce Conservation District, an organization that empowers local landowners to be good stewards of their lands through voluntary and incentive programs.  She began her leadership role at Mid Sound in January 2017, and is focused on working to grow the organization to achieve a broader impact on restoring salmon habitat in the Mid Sound area.

Antonia Jindrich, Operations Director

Antonia grew up exploring the redwood forests and crawfish-filled creeks of an idyllic Northern California town. Inspired to focus on environmental issues, Antonia went on to study Earth Systems at Stanford University, studying the interconnections of biology, geology and communities. She was surprised to find herself passionate not just about protecting and restoring natural areas, but by the task of creating effective organization and fundraising solutions to support that work. She brings over a decade of non-profit administration and fundraising experience to Mid Sound, having helped Washington Environmental Council and Snow Leopard Trust grow their fundraising programs. Her diverse background includes helping coordinate the Salmon Recovery Funding Board grant process for the Stillaguamish and Snohomish watersheds. She also assisted Shared Strategy for Puget Sound in its work to develop the first Puget Sound Acquisition and Restoration proposal to the legislature, when working as a consultant for Evergreen Funding Consultants. She joined Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group in 2014, and is excited to help grow an organization with such a strong history of success.
