The Mid
Puget
Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group
is a
501(C)(3) non-profit organization that works with communities to
maximize self-sustaining salmon populations. In King and Eastern
Kitsap Counties, we work cooperatively with private landowners,
agencies, tribes and others to identify, design and implement
projects that improve salmon habitat.

Mid Sound hired Pilchuck Excavation to create this new stream
channel, reconnecting this tributary of Olalla Creek to over a
mile of prime Coho spawning habitat.

Now landowners Rocky and Jean Thrall are now able to go watch
salmon migrate up this newly constructed stream channel.
