The next Salmon, Suds, and Science talk will be July 17th, from 7-9 PM at Sammamish State Park featuring UW Professor and author David Montgomery. He’s the author of King of Fish: The Thousand Year Run of Salmon, Dirt: The Erosion of Civilizations, and Growing a Revolution: Bringing Our Soil Back to Life.
“Salmon, Science & Suds” is a series of informal talks welcoming the community to better understand habitat restoration and rehabilitation efforts underway in the Sammamish watershed. Speakers address water quality, healthy fish populations, and habitat restoration. The series is offered to share interesting research and initiatives currently improving the health of the Sammamish watershed.
