DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Earth Day by volunteering to help restore the shores of the Green River! \nJoin Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group\, Green River Coalition\, and the City of Auburn to spread mulch\, remove non-native invasive species\, and plant native trees and shrubs at Fenster Nature Park\, in Auburn from 10 am-1 pm. Spreading mulch helps maintain moisture around native plants and reduces the opportunity for invasive plants to regrow. Native trees help shade the river for cooler water for salmon\, provide fresh clean air\, and beautify our parks!
