DESCRIPTION:Click here to sign up!\nVolunteer with Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group on the Sammamish River to establish a high-functioning\, healthy riparian habitat for Chinook salmon! \nWe will spend the day clearing invasive species at a brand new restoration site! These actions will help prevent the spread of  weeds during the summer growing season and open space for native plantings in the future. \nWhen you register you will receive a confirmation email from VolunteerMatch. On the Wednesday before the event (4/2/2025) you will receive an email from Mid Sound with details on parking\, site access\, schedule\, and safety information. \n***If you are under 18 and attending without a parent/ guardian and this is your first Mid Sound event you’ve volunteered at\, please print and fill out the King County Parks Youth Waiver Form attached to the confirmation email and bring it with you to the event!***
