DESCRIPTION:Click here to sign up!\nVolunteer with Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group on the King County Parks-owned West Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville to restore Chinook\, Coho\, and Sockeye salmon habitat! \nWe will spend the event time clearing invasive Himalayan Blackberry from the river’s shoreline to open space for native species to be planted in the near future. We will also stage native plants (currently growing in pots) at spots where they can be planted by volunteers at the next event\, happening on October 26th\, 2024. \nUpon signing up you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to access the site and more details about the event. Molly\, the Mid Sound Fisheries Stewardship Coordinator\, will send a reminder email with event details and the youth wavier the Wednesday before the event. \n**If you are under 18 and attending without a parent or guardian\, please also print and fill out the Youth Waiver Form attached to the Wednesday reminder email and bring it with you to the event!
