Orca Recovery Day + Duwamish Alive! – Fenster Park –October 19th

Mid Sound is partnering with City of Auburn for a Orca Recovery Day and Duwamish Alive! restoration event at Fenster Park along the Green River.

Where:  Fenster Park in Auburn
When:   10am – 2pm

For more information and to register, email: Stephanie@midsoundfisheries.org.

This event is part of Orca Recovery Day. Orca Recovery Day was first started by the Conservation Districts around the state, who have partnered with dozens of non-profit and agencies.  We are proud to provide folks the chance to take action on this critical issue – by getting involved in actions that help salmon, the favorite food of the Southern Resident Killer Whales.
This event is one of dozens of different restoration and educational activities all around Washington.

The event is also part of Duwamish Alive!, a network of restoration opportunities in the Green-Duwamish watershed.

This project is funded by the King County Flood District Board, WRIA 9, and Rose Foundation.
